Arthur vdG Platt AIA

Arthur Platt grew up in New York City.  He studied art and architectural history at Vassar College and received a Master of Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. His knowledge of architectural history as well as professional experience working on residential, institutional, and commercial office buildings has fostered a deep sensitivity to the character of the built environment.

He is a founder of the AIA New York Architecture Tour Programs, where he regularly guides walking tours and the Around Manhattan Architecture Boat Tour.

He is a licensed architect in the State of New York, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a member of Adirondack Architectural Heritage.
