Chelsea
New York City

A compact core of kitchen and bathrooms serves the two-bedroom apartment, reclaiming the uninterrupted spaces of the former 1920s factory loft. Spatial continuity from living areas to bedrooms is maintained with oversized sliding doors.  Original concrete floors and beams were restored to further reveal the raw industrial character. The interior décor, including custom designed furnishings and window coverings, provides modern color, texture, and materiality.
