Journal — May 2023
The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway is crumbling and federal funding is on the table for repairs, but how about radically reconsidering the entire divisive and polluting highway? This is one of the many questions to be asked in a series of public discussions at the upcoming BQE 2053 symposium, organized by our partner Janet Fink AIA LEED AP as part of her work as Interim Executive Director of the Institute for Public Architecture (IPA).
You are invited to attend this free and open to the public symposium – offering 5 LU | HSW CES – on Governors Island this Saturday, May 20th from 9:30am – 5:30pm.
